Dear Member,
Please be informed that our M7 provider, DBAG, will perform two planned maintenance windows as part of the preparations for the DBAG Group Disaster Recovery (DR) Test taking place on 29/08/2026. Pre-DRT preparation activities maintenance will take place on 28/08/20226 from 18:40 to 19:25 BST and restoration of the standard pre-DRT production configuration following completion of the DR test maintenance will take place on 30/08/2026 from 12:00 to 12:45 BST.
During these maintenance windows, all M7 system instances will be switched between the NTT and Equinix (IXE1) data centres to prepare for and subsequently restore the production configuration following the Disaster Recovery Test.
For Leased Line (LL) and Cross-Connect (CC) customers, please note that direct connections to Equinix (IXE1) will not be impacted during these operations. Customers opting for direct connections or using redundant setups to NTT are advised to switch to their alternative M7 connection for the entire duration of the exercise from 28/08/2026 to 30/08/2026 in order ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
On 29/08/2026, DBAG will perform the DBAG Group Disaster Recovery Test.
No interruption to trading or member connectivity is expected during the Disaster Recovery Test itself. Trading will continue on the primary data centre, and no action is required from ComTrader or API users. The Disaster Recovery Test is an internal DBAG exercise and is not expected to have any impact on market operations.
Once the maintenance on 30/08/2026 has been completed, the standard production configuration will be fully restored.
Please also note that both M7 Advanced Simulation Environment (ASIM) and M7 eXtended Simulation Environment (XSIM) will be unavailable from the morning of Friday, 28/08/2026, until the morning of Monday, 31/08/2026, due to the Disaster Recovery Test activities.
During this period, no M7 Simulation environment will be available to members. ASIM and XSIM access and testing activities will therefore not be possible until the environments are restored on Monday morning.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the planned maintenance windows and thank you for your understanding.
Please feel free to inform your colleagues about these activities and contact our hotlines should you have any questions.
Kind regards,
SEMOpx Team
