*Update* REMIT Reporting Fees – 2025 Surcharge

Dear Member,

In accordance with Article 10 of the Commission Decision (EU) of 8.9.2025 on fees due to the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators for its tasks under Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Decision (EU) 2020/2152 , an ACER 2025 REMIT surcharge is to be passed through to all members. This is calculated by ACER as EUR 467.17 or GBP 404.61.

The REMIT surcharge fee will appear on a separate SEMOpx fee Invoice to the existing monthly invoices as the invoice will be VAT exempt based on the relevant EU regulation. Similar to the monthly SEMOpx fee invoices, the REMIT surcharge fee invoices will be issued and payments collected by ECC on SEMOpx's behalf. The timeline for the issuance of surcharge fee invoices is early January 2026.
