Dear Member,

As a consequence of the low prices situation we experienced for the SDAC auction in the Belgium Bidding Zone on Saturday, 10th of May 2025 (Trading Date) for delivery Sunday, 11th of May 2025 ,we entered in the 'observation period' of the Harmonised Maximum and Minimum Clearing Price (HMMCP) procedure.

The start date of this period is Sunday, 11th of May 2025 (trading day) and will be ending on Monday, 9th of June 2025 (trading day). 

As a reminder, if the market price reaches again in one Bidding Zone in one hour at least 70% (-350 euros\MWh) of the minimum clearing price (-500 euros\MWh) during this period, the HMMCP procedure will be triggered and the minimum low price will need to be decreased by 100 euros.
