The SEMOpx October 2022 monthly report can be found here.

• The Traded  Volume (GWh) is up 3% in October 2022 compared to October 2021 and 12% higher than September 2022.
• The Traded Value (Euro) of October 2022 is down 35% compared to October 2021 and also 46% lower than last month.
• The DAM Average Price is 37% lower in October 2022 in comparison to October 2021 and 52% less than September 2022.
• In summary, cheaper gas prices and higher wind output resulted in the lowest DAM Average Price registered so far this year. Such low prices are  expected to change in the next few weeks as the temperatures drop and demand for gas start to rise again.
